ABOUT
Groove, melody, and world music inspiration are central to Brussels-based artist Lexx, born Alexandre Cofsman, both in the studio and behind the club decks. His meticulous selection and attention to detail reflect a 20-year career as a DJ and more recently as a producer. Starting with drums and African-style percussion at an early age, Lexx developed a deep connection to rhythm, leading him to learn mixing at a school in Paris in 1997. Within two years, his career took off with regular bookings and residencies. However, his true breakthrough came with the launch of his highly successful club night, ON, in Brussels. Since 2015, ON has garnered a devoted following and has become Lexx's home base. He has shared the decks with industry giants such as Sven Väth, Adriatique, Kölsch, Rampa, &Me, Damien Lazarus, and Black Coffee. Lexx's impressive gig list includes major events like Burning Man, Tomorrowland, Fuse, and WECANDANCE. His career extends beyond festivals to clubs all over Europe, Israel, and even Bangkok. In addition to his DJing, Lexx has shifted his focus to production. His debut EP 'Marcia' topped the Beatport charts, and he has released music on labels such as Family N.A.M.E., Switch Ibiza, and Deep In Your Soul. Lexx's work as a producer continues to receive acclaim, adding a personal touch to every one of his DJ sets.
