ABOUT

Oceanvs Orientalis, known internationally as a composer of "electronic & experimental" music, also takes on roles as a producer, owner of a record label, and an independent film director. Hailing from Istanbul, Safak Ozkutle, whose alias is Oceanvs Orientalis, pursued a career as a creative director until reaching the age of 24. Transitioning primarily into the musical realm since 2011, he embarked on numerous world tours, showcasing his relaxed yet bass-heavy, groove-infused style. His music transcends conventional genres, blending global sonic traditions with the latest styles and techniques. Rather than serving a specific purpose, it serves as an experiment, capturing the delicate interplay of "Happiness & Sadness," "Slow & Fast," embodying the complexity of life's experiences. As a versatile artist, he endeavors to unite sound, visuals, and movement into a cohesive entity. Over the span of 2013 to 2023, Oceanvs Orientalis has released four albums, six EPs, five singles, along with numerous remixes and live performances across major cities on four continents.
