  • WELLBEING GUIDE
Voodoo Villages likes to radiate an atmosphere of joy, safety, and positive energy, but for some, it could be overwhelming. Taking care of your mental health and well-being at the festival is very important. Getting enough sleep, eating regularly, and pacing yourself are crucial if you want to stay in shape. Wellbeing focuses on various aspects of health and feel comfortable. At Voodoo Village, we choose an even more holistic approach to well-being. For us, wellbeing goes beyond soothing entertainment and fun. We also bring educational and interactive elements that should promote the overall health and well-being of our festivalgoers. Here are some guidelines you should keep in mind: Take care of your friends and family: Communicate how you feel. If you don't feel well, take a break, rest, or support, talk about it. Meet up where you can easily find each other. Be friendly to others in the crowd: If you see someone who is struggling or needs help, ask if they are okay and offer help. Don't forget to eat: We like to see you all dancers energized. Respect and care for others and the environment: Treat our festival like you would treat your home. Treat each other like you would like to be treated. Search shelter from high UV on a regular basis (and wear sunscreen) Take breaks: Cool down and take regular breaks from dancing. Protect your ears: Use earplugs. Especially front-row ravers.
  • SUSTAINABILITY ON THE FIELD
Together with Ecofest we aim for a sustainable and waste-free festival. One of the ways we minimize our impact on the environment is by implementing eco-friendly measures such as planting trees, using reusable cups and biodegradable straws, and offering recycled plastic EPs and decomposable tableware. We also work to optimize transport and energy usage, and collaborate with subcontractors to do the same. These efforts help us reduce our carbon footprint and create a more sustainable festival.
  • ACCESSIBILITY
From the colorful art and vibrant music to the sense of community and connection that fills the air, Voodoo Village is an immersive cultural experience that is not to be missed. We are proud to welcome a diverse and international audience to Voodoo Village, and we are committed to making our festival accessible and welcoming to all. As we continue to grow, we are working to broaden our reach and extend the Voodoo Village experience to even more countries and communities around the world. Whether you are joining us from across the globe or just around the corner, we invite you to be a part of the magic and community. Join us in celebrating the beauty and diversity of the world, and let the music and culture of Voodoo Village transport you to another world.
  • INCLUSIVITY & COMMUNITY
We believe in the power of unity and self-discovery. By bringing people together and providing opportunities for personal growth, we aim to create a transformative and meaningful experience for all. We believe that through unity and self-exploration, we can create a more positive and fulfilling world for all. Our community building efforts at the festival have a lasting impact on our attendees and the wider community. By organizing yearly gatherings, we create a sense of belonging and connection among attendees. We also strive to create a multicultural environment where acceptance is a core value, promoting understanding and inclusivity among all attendees.
  • ARTISTIC EXPRESSION
Artistic expression is a key element of our festival. We work with both local and international artists to showcase a diverse range of artistic styles and mediums.
